Searching for the Words: Bagged A8
Photography by Derrick Mance / Words by Josh Wilson for Canibeat.com
With limited aftermarket parts and a platform that most look over due to the A4 and A6, Chris Thompson has created a very simple and unique sedan with his Audi A8.
Now when modding a platform that normally gets neglected you have to do a little custom work yourself. Chris busted out his tools to do a little cutting to make sure this A8 could sit as low as possible and his hard work was very well worth it.
To utilize this air suspension, Chris went with a set of MRR HR3 in 20×9.5 +38 with 25mm spacers. The result is an Audi that sits stunningly and also leaves you stumbling over your words trying to describe it.
With Chris getting close to being happy with how this A8 looks on the outside, the interior will be the next part of this Audi getting a make-over. Another plan is that this thing won’t be a garage queen anytime soon; Chris is building this car to drive hard. So hopefully you will be lucky enough to catch this beauty on the road, if not, Canibeat will be here to deliver more photos of it in the near future. Enjoy guys.
