Wekfest III is less than a week away! With the Canibeat crew flying out to San Francisco I thought it would be cool to feature a ride that will be showing at Wekfest.
I’ve admired Patrick Huang’s G35 Coupe from seeing photos of it on g35driver.com for a while now. What first drew me to his car was the picture perfect fitment of his Work VS-XX wheels, one of my favorite wheels of all time. I had a chance to meet Pat and see his ride in person at Wekfest II last year. Since then Pat has put in a lot of work, transforming his G to the eye-popping state that it sits in today.
The most noticeable change is the Custom “Menacing Red” 3 stage paint job. Its one of the best paint jobs we’ve seen on a G35 Coupe ever. There are hues of red, orange, and copper depending on how the light reflects off of the car, it’s really breathtaking in person! Big Props go out to TNT Autobody (Sacramento, CA) for doing the paint job.
After completing the color change, Pat chose to bag his ride and went with Universal Air Suspension. What really impresses me about his suspension/tire/wheel setup is that he has struck the perfect balance of looking amazing when dumped and great at his driving height, which is still pretty low. Sometimes in aggressive bagged setups they look incredible dumped, but when it’s raised to driving height the wheels/tires stick out too much. This is not the case at all with Pat’s ride, everything is dialed in perfectly.
Pat paid attention to the details of his exterior by going with a full body kit to compliment the Menacing Red paint job. He added an Akebono BBK painted in a custom gold which looks great behind his custom painted VS-XXs.
