Boost of Friends – Brendan’s Flush Evo & Thomas’ Beefy STI
Photography by Matt Kwok & Words by Josh Wilson for Canibeat.com
One of the biggest car model rivalries right now is the Evo vs the STI. Both are boosted, All Wheel Drive, sedans and well the similarities keep going on and on but we’ll stop there. With such a divide between the two followings you rarely get the chance to see them in the same frame but Matt Kwok has managed to pull it off with two friends who have put the rivalry to rest.
The two met when Thomas Ng needed to have his STI detailed spotless and took a trip over to Project Detail that is ran by Brendan Siu. They hit it off as both of them had the same mission with cars – something with some stance but also something that could dance around a track. Both have pulled this off and even manage to drive these cars in the harsh Canada winters. With these two having the same philosophy when it comes to cars, it’s no wonder they have been come good friends and I’m sure these two cars will get even better as they go back and forth trying to top each other.
