Random Beat: Canibeat Stanceboard Edition
We’ve been pretty busy lately covering local events and while I was covering a local BMW meet yesterday, I happened to walk by a group of guys who were skating around on this modified skateboard. This was the first time I’ve seen one of these in person and while I’ve seen a few online, seeing it in person made me realize just how awesome these boards are.

Lowered skateboards are not new, they are however, still rare. I was extremely excited when I saw this one. Right off the bat, I noticed the beat up finish of the board, which is very reminiscent of drift cars. The zip-ties up front tell us that it is daily-skaten. This one is not a storage room queen.

When it comes to fitment. It could use some spacers or some wider wheels, but for now the owner wants to run these until they fall off before deciding on his next set of wheels and offsets. And similar to drift cars, the owner decided to run different sets of wheels up front and in the rear just to be different. The wheels are unidentifiable, but definitely not stock. They are 1″ all around. Offset unknown. We suggest keeping a square setup, unless the owner wants a Euro staggered look, which would make sense since it is rear wheel drive. If you look closely, the wheels are center lock wheels just like most motorsport wheel setups.

Extended bolts for extreme low. It ‘s only a few millimeters off the ground. Most air setups can’t even go this low. This is static. The owner says “bags are for groceries”.

Made in the USA.

Sticker bombing the ride before skating again.

When asked if the he could prove that it was functional too, the owner happily obliged. No casualties or rubbing (thanks to the shaved fenders) here, only scraping.

After his performance test, we let the owner go. Keep on riding and skating.

Be sure to check back again soon, we have a lot of coverage and features coming up.
