H20i 2011 Coverage: Coastal Highway Eye Candy (Part 1)0

h20i 2011

There are certain events around the country that everyone has to experience at least once in their life. H20 International is without a doubt one of those events. For those of you who are not familiar with H20i, it is a two day Volkswagen and Audi event held in Ocean City, Maryland. There is a pre-meet on Saturday and the actual show is on Sunday, but before, after, and in-between the festivities at the show grounds there are a ton of gatherings off of Coastal Highway. Here is Part 1 of our H2O International 2011 coverage from what I saw on Coastal Highway this year!

When we go to Ocean City for H20 we always try to make it a long weekend, so just like last year we left on Thursday.  It was a pretty quick 3.5 hour drive with no issues at all. It’s always awesome to start seeing Volkswagens as we get closer to the strip. Thursday was just used as a day for us to get settled in and relax. We stayed at the same condo as last year with a perfect view of the strip. It made for the perfect Coastal Highway eye candy.

h20i hoopers

We headed to Hoopers Crab House to grab lunch before our “Pre-Game” meet with our friends at Klutch.  It unfortunately started to rain really hard and it forced things to end before they even started.  Dave Tormey took some photos in the rain… so you can expect those photos soon.
