Lexus IS 300: Not So Orden-ary

If you’re an avid Canibeat reader – I’m sure you’re more than aware of Easton’s IS 300, maybe even remember it from my LWA Crew post a few months ago or “liked” it on a “Coming Soon” post from Cib’s Facebook. Well – Since Easton’s car has already been featured on Canibeat with a previous set of wheels – I figured we could go a different direction and instead of talking about how amazing his fitment is and how beautiful his 19″ Leon Hardiritt Ordens are, we could focus on the issue of how this young buck has managed to slip on his 5th set of authentic JDM wheels while ballin’ on a college budget.

It all started with an idea back in high school when Easton met his overseas connection at an event in Texas. An idea that would allow him to snag some of the hottest authentic JDM wheels – without having to wait 6/8 months. He exchanged emails with his overseas buddy endless times and searched for about a month or so till he finally decided to make his first purchase on a used set of Fabulous Profounds straight from Japan.

How it works is Easton’s connection forwards him a few galleries of used wheels over in Japan. Once Easton picks out his new shoes – they’re sent over to a local tire shop to be dismounted – then packaged and shipped express straight to the US. The whole process only takes him about 2 weeks.

Easton is proof that you never know who you will bump into at meets no matter where in the world you might be. With that being said make sure you get out and support the scene by showing up at meets in numbers because who knows, you might end up making a connection that will help you car stand apart from the rest.
