When you go to the carnival or fair as a little tyke, you walk into the entrance, and as you pass the gate you become over-welmed with the pure craziness going on; well Sema has become a car enthusiast’s dream carnival. As Matt and I walked into the doors of the Las Vegas Convention Center, we saw rows upon rows of cars, trucks and everything to make them perform even better than they did off the assembly line. The 2011 Sema was Matt and I’s first, and words cannot describe how huge Sema truly is.
The amazing thing about Sema is that you have hot-rods, imports, and off-roaders all under the same roof, and to top it all off you may have a Bugatti Veyron in the same building as a Honda Civic. Even after three days of walking, Matt and I both have come across things that we missed; which is crazy since we spent all that time walking around the Convention Center. To add to the madness of all the cars and parts, there are thousands of people bustling about: shops checking on new products, photographers snapping pictures left and right, and vendors seeing what the new hot item will be in their stores soon. If you have never been to Sema to experience all of this then you better start planning to make it next year because you will truly be amazed by all that is going on. So without further adieu, here is Canibeat’s coverage of this year’s Sema, hope you enjoy!
