It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted and some of you may think I died or something along those lines, but no worries, I’m back and I’ve brought along with me a pretty unique feature that we all don’t see that often. First off I want to thank all the supporters of Canibeat and those who appreciate my photography efforts. I never knew that many of you would recognize my work when we posted a status on our Facebook fan page asking who your favorite photographers were. Truth be told, while reading the responses, I was truly overwhelm with joy when I read my name. I felt that this feature would be a perfect come back post.

This is one of the reasons for my short hiatus from Canibeat. I’ve been busy shooting amazing cars like this Ferrari California. The car itself is very unique and has a very elegant look. Although Ferrari is known for it’s racing heritage, it’s recent, “weekend cruiser” additions feature more finesse and rounder body designs. At first glance, the California’s lines flow well and seemingly does not need much modification. However, the guys at HRE Wheels wanted to leave their own special touch to it.

While keeping the racing heritage of Ferrari in mind, they produced a set of matte black, light weight, P40′s for the car. The spread out spokes of the P40 wheels allows everyone to see the ceramic brake kit that the Ferrari engineers quite often boast about.

The slight drop complements the overall look of the car, without taking away from the body itself. This is a testament that not all cars need to be half an inch from the ground to look great. It also proves that “stance” is subjective.

This is not something you will see everyday. A Ferrari California most likely would not come across as car that would look excellent when “stanced out”, but HRE was able to change our minds.

  1. love them wheels….looks like the ones on the 599XX

  2. i don’t consider this “stanced out”, but still a refreshing taste. I like it.

  3. Stance out a ferrari, you’d have to be a moron.

    • exactly why this one isn’t even close to 1″ off the ground.

  4. just purchasing one of these would b a dream now with HRE’s a fantasy…lol

  5. Awesome pics!

  6. what about functional stance. you cant tell me that you can safely and pleasantly drive around while scraping up the streets.. i like a good stance but it shouldnt be that extreme imho
