Wekfest IV: San Francisco, CA (2.19.12) Part 3

Over the past couple of years, Wekfest has become one of the most popular car show tours in the country.  What some of you don’t know is that the first Wekfest event was held in San Francisco in a parking garage.  As the years have gone by and the show has expanded to other parts of the country, the San Francisco event has remained the largest and most anticipated event of the year!  This year was bigger and better than ever before with a variety of cars from all parts of the spectrum including, stanced cars, track-ready, domestics, and everything in between.  Nothing was left behind, which is why people from all over the world travel to California to attend this event. We had friends from the Midwest, East Coast, Canada, and even Japan fly in. I personally drove 7 hours to be at this show and by the time the show started, I was running on less than 16 hours of sleep in 3 days.  Although I was lacking in sleep, my coverage wasn’t.

Just one side of the show. Look at the attendance.

A lot of people work hard for months if not years to debut new cars,  paint jobs, and wheels at this event.

Oh hello there.

I’ve always wondered if my pick up line would ever worked: “Hey girl, are you a model? Cause I’m a photographer” with a wink at the end.

A Lexus IS with a Wald kit from Speed Element.

I took stops outside for quick breathers and a nice ocean view. Such a relaxing event. Why not enjoy the scenic view for a while?

The sickest Work Meister finish ever.

The following Miata was the talk of the show. I’m sure you all have seen it by now. I remember the car before it had the kit. Super sick then, and still super sick now.

VIP style always gets me.
