Besides all owning slammed Mercedes, Luke Smith, Ashton Lafleur and Junior Sanchez all have one thing in common- From start to finish of our shoot, they seemed to have a better time than anyone I’ve had the pleasure of shooting before. It’s not that most are unhappy or anything, but this bunch keeps it lively in any situation. These cars are not here because of how clean they are, or how much money has gone into building a set of wheels, but because they’re old and f***ing cool.

Southern Worthersee is awesome, there is no other way to put it. The people, the cars, and the location in general could not be more perfect. It’s more than just a car show. Though there may be a lot of awesome cars SoWo has become a vacation more than anything. This being the 7th installment of the tribute show to Worthersee SOWO has grown into one of the biggest Euro shows on the east coast. Through the hard work of the staff and the enthusiast in the VW scene the show has taken on a life of it’s own. We all get the privilege to call this tiny mountain city home for five days in May and we always remember why when we take that first glimpse on Helen, GA.

The end of April is an exciting time for automotive enthusiasts in the Southeast. Builds from winter start to emerge and shows begin to pop up almost every weekend. For some, this last weekend in April may be their first car show ever, while others have been in the game longer than they’ve had a license to drive. Experience has taught us which car shows to not miss because of the quality and which ones to go to just to have a good time. Import Alliance Atlanta and Southrn Fresh’s Welcome to Atlanta pre-meet are perfect examples of when those two factors come together.
