Aggressive Offset
Well, I'm not sure about you folks, but it has been a very wet April. That's not to say we can't take some awesome rollers of some serious cars though! This week's #PMR comes from Khoa Nguyen who shot Rami Qasem's S2k. Rami is currently sitting on a staggered set of CCW's, 18" in diameter, a healthy 10" in the front and 11.5" in the rear! Despite the weather, this thing still looks good moving! Thanks for the shots Khoa! Read More
In this week's #PMR, Ejay Marte shows us two shots he snapped of Dan Rama's Civic EG hatch. Now, the first thing I noticed when Ejay sent these pictures over was the almost insane amount of camber in the back, and my initial thoughts were confirmed when I found out that the Exedium rear camber kit had been modified to exceed the previously limited max camber allowance. Of course, we can't forget to mention the wheel specs, which come out to be 16"x9" all the way around, but with a staggered offset at +18et in the front, but a -12et in the rear...and now that modified camber kit makes complete sense! Mahalo! It's the second year that WEKFEST came out to Hawaii to hold down another show! Crowds gathered to witness this spectacular event. New cars, as well as special guest models such as Eva Skye, Ashley Kim, Beckie Joon, & Amy Fay were specially flown in for this amazing event. It’s been 4 years… (Video)
Our friend Dzemo (pronounced Jaymo) is the owner of this beautiful Audi TT and a wedding photographer and videographer by trade. So after filming wedding after wedding this past wedding season, he decided to mix it up and shoot a quick automotive video. So with the help of his close friend Stas Furman they put together this cool short film documenting a day in NYC with the TT. It’s been exactly 4 years today since Dzemo purchased his TT and we couldn't think of a better way to commemorate the occasion! Read More

Canibeat X Hellaflush | INFAMOUS 2012 from Loren Haleston on Vimeo. I was fortunate enough to hang with the rest of the Canibeat crew way out in Long Beach California this last weekend and it was a blast. The tandem Canibeat X Hellflush car show brought out some awesome looking cars in a great location along with some chill people. I especially enjoyed the live music and DJ battles perched right next to the beautiful Queen Mary. After shooting all day and getting sun burnt this show will be something I definitely look forward to next year. - LORENinHD
Here's a shoot I did a while back featuring the first two Benz I have ever shot. Both of them belong to the same owner who couldn't decide which Benz or color he liked better. So he bought both. And to top them both off he got HRE wheels for them at almost the same ride heights. No matter which car he chose, it would always be the right choice for him. Must be nice! Read More
Those of you who have been in the car scene long enough may remember when Hot Import Nights and Nopi first had a very underground and grassroots feel to it. Many will attest to the fact that those days are gone and many car shows have tried to reproduce events of that sort of caliber, but have failed. Even HIN has tried to make a comeback in the past couple of years, but in my opinion, has not been able to recapture that raw essence of a car show. The essence I'm referring to is very simple actually, a car show (for the most part) just for the cars. Although car shows are not underground anymore, there are still quality shows out there. Nisei Showoff Car Show is one of the better quality car shows that still exists and if I were to say that a fledgling Autocon car show is comparable to a Nisei Showoff Car Show, I would quite frankly be lying. However, I can say that Autocon has been able to capture some of that raw essence that has been lost throughout the years with car shows becoming more mainstream. Read More
