Design by: YOU for Canibeat.com I know I know I'm late on posting the voting for the Canibeat box logo contest! First off thanks to everyone who submitted a design for our first Canibeat Box Logo contest! It took a little while to sort through all of the submissions but we have narrowed it down to our top 5 favorite designs. VOTE between 8/11 to midnight 8/18 Comment with the number above your favorite design In no particular order our top 5 favorite submissions.... (Click for Higher Res) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Design by: YOU for Canibeat.com For those of you who missed my previous post or who are still working on your designs I just wanted to post a reminder that the deadline for the 1st box logo contest is this Sunday 7/25 @ Midnight! Well we have released over a dozen different box logo colorways and designs since we started the site and I don't think any of us ever anticipated how popular they would have become. So we have decided to hold a Canibeat box logo contest, where you the viewers can submit your background designs and have a chance at having 1,000 stickers printed in your design! Read More »

Neek x Gene’s xB

One of my favorite parts about Canibeat is meeting and talking to people from all over.  People that most likely I would have never met... Like Neek who lives in Vegas and works at Stussy Las Vegas.  I stumbled across Neek's site WheresNeek.com and saw these shots of Gene's Jasper Pearl xB.  Love Neek's work so I'm sure this won't be the last time you'll see his stuff here on Canibeat! What can I say... I LOVE this shot. Notice the Mini Cooper side markers ;) There's something I love about the look of an air'd our xB on a flush set of 18's! The color combo, the Kenstyle kit, The chrome/polished SSR's...all flow nicely together! Click more for the full mod list... Read More »

Two legendary icons of street culture collaborates for yet another amazing exhibition. This time at the Known Gallery in Los Angeles on February 26th, Eric Haze shows a series of Stussy-inspired work. The show featured some re-interpretations of the Stussy logo as well as some graphic design that was directly utilized in the creation of the visuals for the Stussy collection. Stussy will release a limited edition T-shirt to commemorate the event, featuring artwork by HAZE ($28). The limited edition HAZE x Pro Keds collaborative sneaker will also be for sale at the gallery. Both items will be available for sale at the gallery all weekend. Visit Hypebeast for more photos and info from this past exhibition. Photos: Hypebeast Read More »

This is 4 U Drew…

We all have our reasons for why we love cars... and despite the fact that most of us at one point or another have had those who love us tell us we are crazy or we are throwing our money away we still LOVE them! We still spend countless hours and dollars working on them and when we aren't working on them we are talking about them or we are online checking out or favorite forums and blogs for inspiration. For some it's that adrenaline rush you get while pushing the limits of your car, for others its that satisfaction you get in starting with a vision and making it a reality, and I believe for MOST it's the friendships you make a long the way. For without the help and support of our friends most of our cars wouldn't be what they are today. That couldn't be more true about this s15 Silvia... Now a lot of you have probably seen this car on one of the many blogs or forums its been posted on over the past few months.  Well my friend Michael Russo shot the car recently and I wanted to take some time to share the story behind the car and his great photos! Photos ll 4uDrew.com ll StunnrStatus.com Click more to hear the story behind this car... Read More »

Jeff Staple put us onto a series of images which highlighted the well-attended event including out-of-town attendees such as La MJC (All Gone’s creator), Busy P and VERBAL & Yoon of AMBUSH as well as various New York personalities such as Eric Haze. ITS BONGO BOY was also on hand to provide a video recap seen below. Photography: Dorothy Hong Source: Hypebeast Read More »
