Let’s face it the car scene as a whole utilizes and relies heavily on the Internet for just about anything and everything. Whether you’re looking up prices for parts, checking out the latest builds, or just keeping in contact with your friends we’re a well-connected community because of the Internet. If there is any one area that, for the most part, stays away from the Internet it’d be safe to say it’s Texas. Every year the Lone Star State comes out hard, revealing builds that have been kept under the radar to be premiered at the state’s biggest and most anticipated event; WEKFEST Texas. Just like previous years all Texans were patiently awaiting the announcement of this year’s date and location. Last year WEKFEST was hosted in Austin, and this year in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center. With that said here’s a look back at WEKFEST Texas 2013… enjoy! See you guys in February for WEKFEST Hawaii.

Once a year members of the automotive industry from all over the world flock to Sin City for a week of business mixed with pleasure. While the sun is up they take to the Las Vegas Convention Center where there’s approximately 52 miles of everything imaginable, isle after isle. Once the sun goes down it’s time for parties and drinks with friends you’ve made over the years. Whether you are buying, selling, or a part of the media SEMA is definitely a breeding ground for innovation, and a preview of what is next for the after market industry and its enthusiasts.
It feels just like yesterday that my friends and I made the epic drive across the Sunshine state for Fixx Fest 9. Each year the show continues to change and Fixx Fest 10 was no different. Hosted by Uro Tuning the show was once again held at the Bradenton Motor complex in Bradenton, Florida. The Volkswagen and Audi categories were stacked full of Florida’s finest rides ready to enjoy the perfect November weather. All day long spectators could enjoy the show and shine portion of the event or watch some of the fastest VAG cars go down the quarter mile stripe.
Forge Motorsports impressed the crowd with their TT and once again USP had their GLI ripping up the stripe. The crowd has plenty of vendors to choose from including Dubkorps, Uro Tuning, and also I love Driving Slow. The show ended with awards and then a cruise to the Post Card Inn located in St. Petersburg, Florida for an after party. Canibeat was lucky enough to be on hand for the fun and would like to thank Uro Tuning for the great time! We hope you enjoy our coverage.

Another year, another First Class Fitment gone by. We spend an entire year looking forward to a day that seems to go by faster than every other day of the year and this year was no different. Before sunrise to after sunset, the staff works hard at Princeton Airport for arguably one of the most unique, quality events on the show calendar. Sure, we may be a little biased about our own show but we keep trying to raise the bar each and every year and continue to see attendance grow and some of the best vehicles from across the country come through our gates.
So lets be honest here, when it comes to Central Florida the car show/meet scene has been weak. Typically you will have to travel to Miami or Tampa to catch a really good meet, that was until Simply Clean was created. Simply Clean, it’s a motto and a lifestyle, it is a method of keeping your car minimal when it comes to modifications but always remembering to keep it clean. The Simply Clean crew has always always went with the slogan, “It’s not a competition.” So if its all about clean and not about winning the show, then what is the big deal? The big deal is Simply Clean has grown from a small parking lot meet in Orlando to a true, legitimate show in Daytona Florida. The man at the head of the movement Nickoli Chin along with his masterminds have done a successful job of orchestrating this event since its inception back in 2010 and this year was bigger and better then ever.
Let me keep this short and sweet, if you missed any of the Simply Clean 5 weekend well sorry about your luck! The weekend, yes it is turning into a weekend instead of a day was jam packed full of the cleanest cars from Florida, Georgia, New York, and where ever else people decided to make the journey from. Friday night was the official kick off to the festivities and once again CCW opened their doors and factory to host the Simply Clean 5 “Pre-Meet.” Both inside and out was covered with a ton of clean cars, and regardless if they were rocking CCWs or not everyone was welcome to check out the fun! Factory tours and good times were on all night long and if you were hungry, well a stop by the Taco truck outside would curb your appetite. That’s enough of that check out the pictures!
I finally had a chance to make it out to Canibeat’s First Class Fitment hosted at Princeton Airport in NJ and I must say I was completely blown away by the superior level of cars that attended. The show hosted some mint condition nostalgic JDM and Euro cars achieving very proper stance, as well as some freshly modified cars laying frame while obtaining immaculate pain jobs paired with very aggressive fitments. All and all the show brought together a great vibe that kept spectators enthused for hours on end. I had an amazing time with the CIB crew and cant wait for 2014! Hope you guys enjoy.
After attending First Class Fitment for the past 3 years, our good friend Dzemo Halilovic aka PhotoDH decided to make a film documenting this years event. It’s not always easy to capture the vibe and atmosphere of an event but with the help of a few friends Dzemo really did an amazing job capturing this years event from beginning to end!
Dzemo said… “The quality of cars, the weather, the atmosphere was all just perfect! Having the Audi TT win “Best of Air” certainty placed the icing on the cake! Special thanks to Stan Furman Production, Kenan Krijestorac and Nick Sarantinos for making it possible!”

H2Oi is so much more than a car show and over the years, it has developed more and more facets and dimensions to where it’s hardly even a show anymore; it’s THE social event of the year.
Trends are both made and broken in Ocean City. Like a runway at a Paris Fashion Show, Coastal Highway becomes the stage where the latest and greatest trends and ideas are put on display. As the week progresses, one of your favorite looks or wheels can become one of your least favorite after seeing so many of the same sets of wheels or themes cruising up and down the strip. At the same time, you can develop a love for a look or theme that you never thought of before or didn’t think you’d like until it’s on display in front of you.
From “played” to “revolutionary”, The Strip is a magical place where heroes and villains are made or broken and where trends, wheels, and ideas go to rise in popularity or find their final resting place. This is true for any and all makes and models as you see the Euro and JDM scenes swapping ideas and perfecting them on similar chassis with different badges. It’s not out of the ordinary to see the same set of wheels ten times in one day with ten different finishes.
If there’s one thing H2Oi teaches you, it’s this: keep an open mind, open eyes, and current license, insurance and registration…
