Last year Wrong Fitment Crew threw its first annual “Wrong Fitment Fest.” They held this event as a big meet instead of an official show, just a big hang out for everyone who wanted to come. This meet is about good times, good hangs, checking out some awesome cars, catching up with a bunch of good friends, and of course making new friends. Wrong Fitment Fest takes place in beautiful Oceanside, California, which was a nice break from the one hundred plus temperatures most of us are use to in the Valley.

With the Fitted 2014 crew acquiring more than double the floor space over last year’s venue they somehow managed to up the actual quality of the venue and cars over the previous iteration as well. While still being one of the smaller events on the calendar they make up for it with a level of diversity and car quality that easily contends with large events. Euros and imports living comfortably side-by-side with stanced and race inspired builds. See… we can all get along.
A warm 80 degrees and an offshore breeze is a great combination for a car show. Wekfest LA kicks off the year with yet again another awesome show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, with Canibeat posted up right in the middle of all the madness. This year the theme was RED. Red ruckus, Red DC2 (Integra) and a Red FRS 86. With the Long Beach skyline in the background you couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. This year we tried to enjoy the show a little more so we talked and met with a lot more people. Surprisingly this year Wekfest LA gave us all a little bit more room to breathe. Giving us quality over quantity, you were able to walk around more and set up your shot for the perfect Instagram post.
Most enthusiasts in our community will agree that believe that WekFest Long Beach is the first real big show of the season; a place for many to unveil their projects, their changes… everything. People spend months and months preparing for this show, and drive from other states just to attend. #WekfestPrep takes over social media in the weeks prior as many scramble to finish their builds. Ultimately, however, Wekfest is all about enjoying the day, hanging out with friends, gazing on the completed builds, and enjoying the amazing weather right in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Carlisle Performance & Style: a festival that celebrates the ever-changing trends entailed to the motorsports lifestyle. During the second weekend of May you will find the Carlisle Fairgrounds populated with some of the freshest builds the East Coast has to offer.
SOWO, only a one year until you return and I can once again visit the sleepy town of Helen, GA. This is the sixth year I have had the chance to attend the event and without a doubt I can easily say this is my favorite show hands down. There are a lot of great shows out there but nothing like SOWO. The atmosphere, the town, and even the people that come together all make this event truly special. Each year dozens of people including two men, Matt Bounds and Chris Cooley, dedicate hundreds of hours into making this event happen but each year it becomes a little more challenging. We need to remember despite the fun we have to keep it respectful and not ruin this happy little town by going too over the top.
SOWO offers a lot for the car enthusiast in us all. From mini-meets all over town to photo shoots, mountain drives, and of course the main show, there is something for everyone to enjoy. For me, though, the chance to escape the work flow, experience a German themed town full of German cars, and get a hold of some German beer is all I really need. Starting the Thursday prior to show day you can cruise the strip and enjoy seeing all the awesome cars roll up and down and have a chance to meet up with friends from all over the country. Personally it was great to meet up with the rest of the Canibeat staff and also to have Mr. Andy Carter take some great shots. Enjoy part two of our SOWO coverage! Get ready #SOWOPREP2015 starts now!

Every year thousands of cars invade a quaint Bavarian themed town with the beautiful mountain backdrop of Western Georgia. The chaos that follows the first wave of arrivals is a blur of scraping subframes, smokey burnouts, cases upon cases of beer and of course those all too familiar flashing red and blue lights. The field of cars attending Southern Wörthersee features a wide range of chassis’ and styles from air-cooled all the way up to the most recent to-be-released models. It’s a mixture of flawless paint, eye-popping wraps, unique dips and timeless patina that seem pair perfectly with the modifications that adorn these builds.
Two years ago I was introduced to my first Formula Drift event in Atlanta. It was an absolute blast and every year since, I’ve always been stoked to go back. This year was no exception.

EVOLUTION Presented by BLOX is a unique concept that encompasses many different elements.
Each year as the bitter cold begins to retreat the folks at Grossman Tuning wrap up their plans for their Spring show-season opener, Water by the Bridge. What started as a small get together at their shop in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, has become a must-attend for anyone in the MidWest and Southern U.S. The former “Grossman Tuning Show” has seen quite an exponential increase in attendance since its humble beginnings in the back parking lot of their shop.
