After three successful years at Downsview Park, it was time for Fitted to move to a larger location at the Brampton Fairgrounds. The event was held on Saturday May 25, 2013 and put on by the people from Stretch & Poke. This year, Fitted included a free indoor RC track, live music provided by a DJ, and a food truck alley which was unique to a Canadian event.
Fitted included a trophy competition as well, and custom trophies were up for grabs. In addition, every attendee received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a wide range of apparel and automotive parts graciously donated by the Fitted show sponsors!
While you will see a wild mix of the good, the bad, and the ugly at this Canadian show, event managers have reached out to some of the region’s most renowned car builders and lifestyle companies to help keep featured aspects of the event true to the ever-evolving car scene up here in Canada. Please enjoy our coverage of some of the memorable vehicles at this event that caught our interest and made our coverage. We look forward to Fitted video that was produced by Backstage Productions, that is to follow this coverage. Keep up the good work Fitted, as you continue to put Canada on the fitment map!
Coming from Maryland, I don’t have the luxury of attending these kinds of things on a whim. It’s a very expensive planned mini vacation, but once again Weksos Industries delivered. WFLA is held at the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach, CA. It’s right on the water with a spectacular view the marina and downtown, not to mention some damn good landscaping too! This is why I love this event so much. It’s not just a car show; it’s an experience. The amount of new friendships and people brought together by the WekFest Tour is probably more that anyone could possibly comprehend. Don’t get me wrong – the cars are top notch and I would be lying if I said that it wasn’t my #1 reason for going, but it just never ceases to amaze me how much more WekFest brings to the table. To make a long story short, if you haven’t been to Wekfest, make sure you hit up one of their events near you. With 6 locations worldwide including Hawaii, Japan, Texas, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, Its worth the drive (or flight in my case!). Enjoy the pictures!
The Wekfest events are synonymous with quality builds and great vibes. Originally native to Northern California they have since branched out and have been holding Wekfest LA for a few years now. Like the previous year, skies were clear and made for a great day to come out and enjoy the event. Enjoy our massive coverage of this great event.
The Carlisle “Custom Compact” event grew to its height in popularity in the mid-2000′s, when out of control crowds caused management to ship the event out of town. After a few years at different venues, the creators returned the show back to its rightful place at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, and the Performance & Style event was born. It’s been a few years since then, and the event seems to grow a bit larger each and every year. While you will see a wild mix of the good, the bad, and the ugly at this show, event managers have reached out to some of the region’s most renowned car builders and lifestyle companies to help keep featured aspects of the event true to the ever-evolving car scene.
After being started as a small shop get together in 2005 by Grossman Tuning, Water by the Bridge 2009 marked the progress of the event as a whole. Wanting the show to be a place for Euro enthusiasts of all types, Grossman started to set up the show. After getting approval for one of the sickest places around, Water by the Bridge was set to be held at the gorgeous Waterfront Park in Louisville, Ky. Each year, more people came. In 2012, about 200-250 cars showed up, but that’s nothing close to what 2013 had to offer. Apparently word had gotten out; Water by the Bridge was the place to be in 2013.

Southern Worthersee is awesome, there is no other way to put it. The people, the cars, and the location in general could not be more perfect. It’s more than just a car show. Though there may be a lot of awesome cars SoWo has become a vacation more than anything. This being the 7th installment of the tribute show to Worthersee SOWO has grown into one of the biggest Euro shows on the east coast. Through the hard work of the staff and the enthusiast in the VW scene the show has taken on a life of it’s own. We all get the privilege to call this tiny mountain city home for five days in May and we always remember why when we take that first glimpse on Helen, GA.
Southern Worthersee is one of those truly magnificent times we think about all year long. Even after the show’s over and we start the trip back home, we immediately get excited for the next year’s event. Sowo stands alone and unique among all the other shows. Helen, Georgia, a scenic, captivating Bavarian inspired small town graciously hosts the weekend’s event and welcomes Volkswagen, Audi, and many other car enthusiasts from all over the states. I prepared for the trip down south from Virginia Beach with a convoy of friends and set out to film this spectacular show.

USDM? What is it? What does it mean? Simply, “United States Domestic Market.” United States domestic market (USDM) is a term used chiefly by automotive enthusiasts to describe the US economic market for automobiles and parts. A similar automotive enthusiast term, Japan Domestic Market (JDM) is used to designate Japanese-market for automobiles and parts. To Japanese automotive enthusiasts, however, their desire is for parts that are only available in United States or Canada, such as different body pieces, motors, or entire model lines. Basically our unwanted parts are their treasure, just like their unwanted parts become our treasure. The mastermind behind the USDMjam event is Tetsuya Yamaguchi, owner of the famous Yamazstore located in the Tsu City, Mie Prefecture of Japan. Yamazstore is the flagship store for any USDM enthusiast in Japan who is into body parts, engines, front end conversions, paint, accessories and other USDM goodies. Tetsuya san has been giving back to the USDM community by throwing these events for the USDM fans, where they can come and hang out and enjoy their works of pride. Please check out our take on this special Japanese event and we hope you get a feel for the USDM Japanese culture.
It’s official, Southern Worthersee now rivals H20 International for the best Volkswagen/Audi show on the east coast. 2013 was noticeably larger than any previous year. There were more people, cars, burnouts, and cops than ever before. Thankfully Helen, Georgia still welcomes the stance crowd with open arms. The level of craftsmanship and style was, as always, unbelievable. The amount of money, time, and effort put into these cars is staggering. In addition, it never ceases to amaze me how far people come for this show. Some of the license plates this weekend included Utah, Toranto, and Mexico. They make our humble trip from Philly seem like a breeze. I had a blast providing this coverage and I hope you all enjoy! Hope you enjoy the video.
