The VIP movement isn’t something new to us anymore; they’ve definitely solidified their seats within our culture. With that comes the non-stop deliverance of top-tier style, execution, luxury, and groundbreaking modifications that many have turned out to be quite the sucker for, us included.
I’ve come to notice those who get cars with the intention of only doing minor modifications always tend to end up doing a lot more, and doing it very, very well. I’ve met and talked to quite a few of these types of individuals, but this one in particular has made it so I will never look at the Inifiniti G37 the same way ever again. Read More
While the rest of the United States is being blanketed by snow we here in the Sunshine State truly feel bad for you … kind of. Welcome to Florida, where you can wear short and tan year-round, and host a killer euro show without worrying about the cold weather and snow. Sure it gets cool down here, but we welcome that as a break. Enough with the weather report, welcome to Euro Tripper 2! February 2014 hosted the second edition of the all euro event in sunny Ft. Myers, Florida. The Germain Arena hosted the show again this year, and if you missed the second edition of this ever growing event it’s safe to say you really missed out.
Another Winter 2014 week is in the books and I am back at it again with another version of Web Picks (#2). My primary goal with these segments is to give you guys a good variety in photo style and cars. Just like last week here are my favorite photos from around Flickr and the Internet.
I personally invite any of these talented photographers below to reach out to me and lets work together on some features! Keep up the good work everyone and as always just a friendly reminder to add your work to the Canibeat Flickr Pool. I am toying around with the idea of maybe opening this segment up to guests. If this interests you feel free to reach out as well.
Take a moment and reflect on your life endeavor. The people you’ve encountered, the roads you’ve traveled. Some remember tumultuous seas, others remember tranquil roadways. But each person’s route is truly unique. I think about that moment I met Rudi Schreiner on the blacktop at VagFair all those years ago. I remember the sweltering heat cooking my skin as it beaded with salty perspiration. I remember gazing through the heat refraction and fixating my eyes with this Volkswagen R32. I had to know more.
Last year, I flew down for the first year of Euro Tripper. With its success, I was stoked to go back this year. Hosted at the Germain Arena in Estero, Florida, It’s a great get away from the cold north during February. Paul Barney, the lead organizer of the show donates the profits made to an animal shelter in need, Brookes Legacy Animal Rescue. Here’s our official video coverage from the show! Keep an eye out for our photo coverage, coming soon.
Thank you to everyone that supported the show this year, and enjoy the video!
In the scene today a lot of people claim to love their car. The same can be said for those involved in the ever exploding Ruckus scene. The owners boast about their builds and typically their love is nothing more than mere infatuation. For one owner in particular his love is real, and now not only rules his hobby but also his work life. Kam Vaswani knew after building his 2009 Honda Ruckus that he was hooked and had to have more, and after getting a job at the famous RuckHouse in Orlando, Florida he would get his chance with a brand new build.
In the Volkswagen and European car scene it’s pretty common to see the typical Golfs and Jettas getting all the attention and aftermarket support from manufacturers. It’s when cars such as the lesser common Volkswagen family members hit the scene in such a radical way that really makes peoples heads turn. Jeremy’s claim to fame resides in the sneaker community with his wild array of shoes, and it’s only fitting that his car makes a bold statement as well. His Volkswagen CC R-Line has taken grasp of our attention and will not let go, this thing is a stunner!
From time to time I like to check out The Canibeat Flickr Group to see what photographers are up to and producing. Here are a few of my current favorite picks in a segment I like to call Around The Web… enjoy!
Tupac Shakur, in a 1996 interview with San Francisco’s KMEL, responded to a question regarding the balance of his challenges and successes with the declaration, “I’m a reflection of my community”. Community is a topic that gets thrown around a lot nowadays, as many of us find ourselves isolated in our online lives, trying to find real connections amongst hundreds of thousands of Facebook friends and Instagram followers.
