Society sees car enthusiasts as misfits and trouble-makers as they constantly smear our community due to street racing, drifting on public roads and car meets that get out of hand. When you think that they would want enthusiasts to seek out safely sanctioned events on closed tracks they have instead worked to close our sanctuaries, and some have even been torn down in place of more “community beneficial” facilities slowly trying to kill our beloved car community.
Don’t rule Kansas out when it comes to cars. Bradley Toon’s one of a kind Celica is just one of many cars putting the Midwest out there at the moment. Enjoy this video by Brandon Kahl.
The VIP movement isn’t something new to us anymore; they’ve definitely solidified their seats within our culture. With that comes the non-stop deliverance of top-tier style, execution, luxury, and groundbreaking modifications that many have turned out to be quite the sucker for, us included.

When it comes to cars it always hits home when someone gives it their all in a build. Whether they live next door, across the coast, or in this case across the globe in Indonesia, every person that allocates their time in order to put together a show-stopping whip deserves a round of applause. Many of us have been in our garages with busted knuckles and greasy wrenches, but not blowing the doors off of the scene we were attempting to when it came to our vehicles.

Leonardo Da Vinci. Albert Einstein. Benjamin Franklin. What do these men have in common? They were all pioneers in their own respective fields (and sometimes outside of their comfort zone). The world was fascinated by their discoveries, inventions, and theories, all of which were basically new concepts at their respective times. It generated excitement and inspired people after them to build on what they had done push the limits even farther.
Subaru’s rich automotive history can be traced back to two triumphs in the automotive world; their prevalence in WRC, and their all wheel drive system introduced back in 1972. Now, it was inevitable that owners of these cars would begin to step out of the comfort zone that was “rally”, and begin to adopt the trending styles of modification. For Khalid and his STI, it took a bit of warming up to become what it is today. The first 2 years of ownership saw minimal modification; simple bolt-ons and small aesthetic tweaks began an all too familiar path that spirals us enthusiasts into a full-blown project car.

Hyundai has always been considered, with lack of better words, an underdog in the car scene. The heavy hitters in the European and Japanese game have solidified their position at the top. Lately we’re beginning to see more builds involving cars South of the DMZ, with Hyundai and Kia trying to give the top dogs a run for their money. These manufacturers have been raising the bar with their production vehicles each and every year, and with the few models that they produce there are people that have really begun to take interest in tuning them for both form and function.
Let’s face it the car scene as a whole utilizes and relies heavily on the Internet for just about anything and everything. Whether you’re looking up prices for parts, checking out the latest builds, or just keeping in contact with your friends we’re a well-connected community because of the Internet. If there is any one area that, for the most part, stays away from the Internet it’d be safe to say it’s Texas. Every year the Lone Star State comes out hard, revealing builds that have been kept under the radar to be premiered at the state’s biggest and most anticipated event; WEKFEST Texas. Just like previous years all Texans were patiently awaiting the announcement of this year’s date and location. Last year WEKFEST was hosted in Austin, and this year in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center. With that said here’s a look back at WEKFEST Texas 2013… enjoy! See you guys in February for WEKFEST Hawaii.
The man simply known as “Eastcoaststeeze” has been in the game for a while now. Last time we saw him, his gorgeous R32 graced our site with some well thought-out modifications that kept the purists happy, while also surprising its onlookers with some body work that was not-so immediately noticeable.

Another year, another First Class Fitment gone by. We spend an entire year looking forward to a day that seems to go by faster than every other day of the year and this year was no different. Before sunrise to after sunset, the staff works hard at Princeton Airport for arguably one of the most unique, quality events on the show calendar. Sure, we may be a little biased about our own show but we keep trying to raise the bar each and every year and continue to see attendance grow and some of the best vehicles from across the country come through our gates.
