Every year in late March, Grossman Tuning hosts a show marking the beginning of show season on the banks of the Ohio River in Louisville, Kentucky. What began as a small meet held at their shop in years past has become one of the fastest growing and most anticipated shows in the Midwest. Read More »
When I look back over all of the cars we have featured here on Canibeat one of my personal favorites is my friend Caleb's Civic! Whether you are a Honda guy like me or not it's hard not to admire the aggressive lines of the JDM front and rear end paired with a collection of parts that we rarely see here in North America. So when photographer Ste Ho contacted me earlier this week about sharing some new shots he took of Caleb's car I did not hesitate!   We love this profile shot, but  be sure to checkout the before and after on Ste's photography page on Facebook! And the rear sporting a Black/Black Canibeat plate frame!
When you are a kid, there were weekends you’d wake up for a big day at the amusement park. You’d map out the day, what rides or coasters you had to go to first hoping to have time to maybe ride them twice. As we went through the years we finally came the day we got our driver license, the roads became our new roller coasters. The Honda S2000 has arguably become one of the favorites for handling our grown-up roller coasts and Kaan Sahbaz’s take on the S2000 is just mind-blowing. Read More »

Random Beat: The Baby BMW

I recently repaired my front lip and somehow chanced upon a pretty cool location to shoot cars. While I was waiting for my client to come for his photo shoot, I decided to take a few snaps of my own car. It's a BMW 135i. I have a few more mods coming in and it'll be done since I have a new project car coming in next month. Leave a comment and let us know what you think. Read More »

Kickin’ It With The Crew (Video)

Sometimes as a reader I’m sure some posts or features that you see no matter what site you’re scrolling through, come off as having more planning than a Super Bowl Halftime show. Well sometimes that is probably true but other times it’s completely the opposite. Canibeat’s very own, Kenny Cano rode shotgun on the way to a meet on the east coast a couple of weekends ago and gave us a laid-back view of some friends just cruising together. Sure cars are what get us in the scene but the people we meet and friends we make are what makes the car scene so strong and also makes being in it so worthwhile. Hope you enjoy!

This week we bring you some crisp new wallpapers from the other side of the globe! PJ Moran is a talented young photographer based in Australia that I stumbled across in my daily browsing and he was excited to share these photos of two s2000's he recently shot. These two gorgeous cars happen to reside under the same roof and belong to two cousins... how cool is that? Read More »
For me and my experience, I've always been more of a euro automotive guy. It's that combination of engineering and class that just makes that side of the scene usually more appealing. It's a mind set that simplicity can go a long way, and you don't need a mass amount of body work and chrome dipped parts to make a car stand out. Tom Byrne I can safely say, understands this concept of simplicity. When Tom told me he first bought an S2000 I had mixed feelings. After drifting the stock car out of a chic-fil-a however, my mixed feelings had dispersed. I was hooked. Laughing at the Vtec kick, we started to discuss plans for the new Honda in his life. Me of course concerned he would be going fast and the furious rice status on us. Luckily, that was not the case at all. With simplicity in mind, and months of dedication and work on polishing wheels and saving for hard tops and engine work, I proudly present Tom's Honda S2000 Video.

“Is your car low enough?” If you hear this question from three different people during one gas station visit, you know you’re doing it right. Tanner Norwood from Cleveland, Tennessee can’t even change lanes in his ‘94 supercharged Miata without destroying reflectors or grinding the crown of the road. Although, this problem should be expected when your skid plates are not even a quarter of an inch from the ground. Read More »
