Track Cars

A baby blue colored Nissan GT-R isn't something you see everyday and it isn't something you'd see on a beast of a car. Don't let the color fool you though as this car is tracked and before you say something about the wing, it's not just about looks, it's functional. Read More »
As the year ends, another season of shows will end with it. To close out 2011, we present our Autocon coverage for you. The event, along with the turn out, was much larger than last year. We were excited to use that opportunity to booth for the first time on the West Coast. Organized as a charity event, the show was a great experience for us, and we enjoyed meeting everyone. We'd like to thank the Royal Origin guys for coming out to show at our booth with their quality cars and hilarious entertainment throughout the day. Four different photographers covered Autocon for us just to make sure we didn't miss anything. Enjoy, and we hope to see you next year! Read More »

Daily Zoomin’: Matthew Lamphier’s Mazda Miata

You've mostly seen these roadsters in competitive autocross and drift events. It's a light weight, front-engine, rear-wheel drive two seater that originally roamed in Japan for almost 22 years and is one of the best affordable roadsters out there. So why is it such a success you say? Because it's nimbleness can take on any track/course like a champ. Read More »
While I was over in Australia, I drove down to Melbourne for a couple days, and the owner of this beautiful Platinum Pearl White S2000, Vyet Le, was kind enough to show me around. He has owned the car for around 3 years now, and originally, it was supposed to be a clean, streetable car with the ability to hit up the track every now and then. After an accident though, everything changed. The insurance company wanted to just get rid of it, but Vyet felt a real connection to this car, and decided it wasn't time to let it go. He bought it back, and repaired it. Read More »

[VIDEO] Level One

A short but quality video showcasing some of our friends cars from the group Level One out of Toronto, Canada. We had the pleasure of meeting a few of the guys when they made the trip down to New Jersey earlier this year for Honda Day, and we hope to make it up to Toronto for an event or two next year! This isn't the entire crew but it gives you an idea of the quality and variety these guys represent. "We aren't a car club... we're a family..." Read More »

There's always a reason behind why we love cars and why we modify them. Depending on the person, some will go for show while others will go for a car that can perform. No matter what type of person you are we all share one common interest that brings us together and that is we all love modifying our cars. Ricky, the owner of this GT-R, decided to go the track and performance route for his build. Ricky is not a newbie when it comes to building functional track-ready cars, his whole garage only consists of track-ready cars. You might remember his red BMW M3 that I posted a while back. Yup, this is the same owner. Read More »
There were planes taking off, helicopters landing, guys wrenching away in their hangars, and it was the perfect fall day for First Class Fitment 2011!  Open to all makes and models the Princeton Airport in Princeton, New Jersey was host once again to one of the most diverse gatherings of cars on the East Coast. With no parking spots painted on the ground, and a limited space at the small private airport (which celebrated its 125th Anniversary earlier this year) most would drive by and never think to host such an event at this venue... however that is the beauty of it all! While most events are tailored to one specific make or model, First Class Fitment brings together people from all corners of the car community with one common interest, fitment. Without further ado we present First Class Fitment 2011! Read More »

White lightning: Barry Chan’s Track Ready STI

There are a ton of aftermarket parts are currently out there to select from and it's hard to find the right combination of parts for a car that is backed up with an abundance of aftermarket support. Basically, you sometimes just have to go with that first instinct, tune it, and pray it performs to your expectations. Well if you have a car that has proven it's ground with a record of rally championships, you don't have to worry with making a wrong choice with a Subaru. Read More »

LTBMW : End of Summer Meet

It's been a while since the guys at LTBMW put on an event so what better way to end the summer by having one right? Plenty of BMW's showed up as usual just like any LTBMW meet. It could be considered one of the largest California or even west coast gatherings of BMW's (the largest being the annual Bimmerfest). This event wasn't just all about Bimmers though as not only did other Euros show up but there was even a strong showing from the JDM and VIP scenes.  It just goes to show that true car enthusiasts can except all kinds of cars and makes. Japanese Classic Car Show 2011

The Japanese Classic Car Show is one of those annual events you really don't want to miss. It's one of those events that is not subject to a certain age range, style, or enthusiast. Everyone and anyone can enjoy JCCS simply due to the fact that the rare cars, bikes, and "relics" displayed are part of history. If the Natural History Museum was a car show, JCCS would be it. We can really take a look and marvel at how these classic JDM cars have evolved and transformed into their modern day counterparts. All of them have played an extremely crucial part in contributing something to the car industry as we know it. Some technology dating back to the 60's and 70's is still being installed onto the cars we drive today. It's simply amazing being able to appreciate shows like these. Read More »
