A year went by as the east coast prepared for an event that would change the course of our automotive culture and history. The tri-state generation had yet to prove and showcase their knowledge, hard work, and their way of life. When the announcement was made that Weksos USA was hosting a show right in the center of the North East people flooded with excitement and anticipation, eager to finally climb up as underdogs to the west, and come up as kings of the east.

With the growing popularity of the VIP style scene in North America every enthusiast seems to try to push the envelope with more force than the next guy when it comes to modifying their car. What once started as simply working with a big body sedan with wheels and a drop to emulate the Yakuza mobsters’ ride of choice has now turned into an ever growing and ever changing canvas to work from with endless possibilities. Raymund Young at Royal Flush sculpted his masterpiece with detail that would make Picasso proud.

Red carpets, suede ropes, flashing cameras, and a table for you and your crew with a bucket of that good stuff on ice. Sounds like a glamorous night at an upscale club downtown, doesn’t it?
Allow me to introduce Johnee Sou’s ’08 BMW 528i, a car that can provide this same glamorous feeling while looking much more appealing in the process than a couch and a candle lit coffee table to place your champagne flute.
This week’s #PMR comes all the way from Hawaii! Allen has done a wonderful job with this big-bodied Lexus LS460, we are speechless! A big shoutout to Derrick Mance for taking these incredible shots! Thanks for the submission guys!
If you can remember back to November of last year, the winter months were rolling in, and some of our most prized possessions were beginning to be tucked away into our garages. When we featured Scotty Ramos’ gorgeous Infiniti G35x, we were nothing but impressed; the car was flawless. Well, here we are a little over 6 months later, and after countless hours of bodywork, and meticulous planning, Scotty’s G35x emerges again, and we are floored!
Simple, luxurious, and low — the latest car to roll out of Dorbritz Designs, for an anonymous customer, ticks all the right boxes. These three words were key for the owner, as he describes himself as a simple guy with a taste for luxury. This makes the Lexus LS a perfect choice: mature sophistication without being overly extravagant.
After a long winter, and countless hours spent tearing the car apart, and putting it all back together again, Scotty Ramos is back with one of our favorite contributing photographers, Sean Dougherty, to bring us the video portion of “…And Beyond (Part II)”. With a whole new look on this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind AWD sedan, Sean gives us a first-hand peak at what Scotty’s been up to over the past couple of months including a whole new paint job and some flawless body work in the rear quarters! Lets just say, you won’t be disappointed!
A few weeks ago, we featured Part 1 of one of our favorite Lexus IS250′s to date, owned by Henry Lin from San Francisco, California (Henry Lin’s IS250 Part 1). Amusingly enough, as the feature went live, Henry released his new wheel set up through social media networks such as Facebook and Instagram and the praises flooded the screen. With knowledge of his drop on his new look, we caught up with Henry for a second time to discuss the outstanding changes he has made and the impact it had on his goals and achievements.
There are moments in our lives where we find ourselves trapped in a haze, dreaming of a goal that seems so far out of reach. And when you open your eyes, you realize that you couldn’t be any further from the vision you so desperately want in front of you. Henry Lin grew up in a small town in Burma country in South Asia, geographically located next to Thailand. With its harsh weathers and equally rough roads, trucks and SUVs ruled the course, and often the trails as you might find them to be. Coming from an area where cars were the last commodity, it wasn’t until Henry moved to San Francisco, California where he knew he would have a shot at engaging the automotive culture.
