VIP Cars
Last month I started an epic trip I called Project XXIV, which consisted of a road trip across the united states. Last about 24 days and stretching more then 15000 kilometers, the quest was to capture all the automotive stuff I could find. Surfing on Facebook I found the Royal Flush crew, based in California, a crew well known in the VIP/stance and fitment scene with so many crazy rides. I finally got the chance to meet a small part of the crew for a photoshoot on a Saturday night. After being kicked out of our first spot we decided to report the video the day after, with even less cars this time. Nothing was really planned for the video but it all worked out and turned out good in the end. I had some great times and I hope one day I will be able to go back there for more crazy camber action.
There are many platforms out there with an infinite amount of potential but a severe lack of presence in the car scene; cars which are seemingly born to be modified but are so rarely done that you have a better chance of seeing Olivia Wilde ride by on a unicorn than to see a clean example of said chassis. One of these nearly forgotten platforms is the one in front of you now: The Lexus SC. Every time I see a clean, well-done SC, I wonder why I don’t see WAY more of them. The aggressive bodylines and simple styling makes this one of the most aesthetically pleasing and promising models of the last couple decades. Lexus definitely let the public down by not releasing these from the factory with a significant drop and staggered wheels with a deep lip. Fortunately for us, there are a few good men (and women) out there who consider this a platform worthy of their hard earned dollars and sometimes the results leave you salivating... Cue the pictures! The VIP style has invaded the states from Japan in recent years but has been its strongest in Cali and the East Coast as not only some of the best builds but strongest crews have come out of these two areas. As the style continues to gain popularity and spread into every corner of the globe, we have started to see builds come along that show us that these two areas are going to be receiving some major competition. One heavy hitter is Nax Whitmore and his superlative Lexus LS430 straight out of Florida that’s here to show that Florida can swing with the best of ‘em. Read More

The choices available in finishes and styles have almost become an extension of the driver themselves, illustrating the persona that lies beneath. For Alfa Rein, this is most definitely the case! Every time there's a LTBMW car meet, it's pretty much a known fact that it will be big. If you are familiar with Bimmerfest then think of a LTBMW meets just as you would a mini Bimmerfest with plenty of fine BMWs. There were even cars from Norcal and Arizona that made the journey out just for the meet. This time the meet evolved a little and turned out to be similar to a car show. Mackin, HRE Wheels, KW Suspensions, Redbull, Attic clothing, and a few others came out with booths and show cars. I've been to every LTBMW meet and I can truly say that if you want a good taste of Socal's BMW scene, then you should attend one and experience it for yourself. Read More

Over the past couple of years, Wekfest has become one of the most popular car show tours in the country. What some of you don't know is that the first Wekfest event was held in San Francisco in a parking garage. As the years have gone by and the show has expanded to other parts of the country, the San Francisco event has remained the largest and most anticipated event of the year! This year was bigger and better than ever before with a variety of cars from all parts of the spectrum including, stanced cars, track-ready, domestics, and everything in between. Nothing was left behind, which is why people from all over the world travel to California to attend this event. We had friends from the Midwest, East Coast, Canada, and even Japan fly in. I personally drove 7 hours to be at this show and by the time the show started, I was running on less than 16 hours of sleep in 3 days. Although I was lacking in sleep, my coverage wasn't. Read More
Quality over Quantity. A phrase that everyone has heard, everyone preaches but how often do you actually see it followed through on? The guys at Weksos, every year, work to create an event that is usually one of the year’s best shows but not because of a huge number of cars or spectators. Instead, they show us the perfect example of Quality over Quantity by hand-picking their field of cars. Read More
