From what I'm told, this was merely a bbq with friends! I love the atmosphere around these cars because it brings back the essence of friends and life beyond photo shoots and magazines. Seen just chillin' is Chris Thompson's 2000 Audi A8 sitting proper on a crazy set of MRR HR3 20x9.5 +40 , along with KW coiloversuspension with UAS bagover suspension. Next to the audi is non other than James' CRAZY "VIP'd OUT" GS400. There have been pictures of his GS floating around the inter webs for quite sometime now, but i'm really digging his "less"crazy, yet still awesome 19x10 -3 front & 19x11 -4 rear SSR Agle Strusse (hehe). Although the car is in pieces and its parts are being transplanted to his new chassis, I've always had a thing for Tommy's car during the "Gold Phase". The car features a KA-t , SSR Vienna Kreis, Dmax aero and practically every part made from Parts Shop Max! Pictures from various sources on the net (many from Larry Chen at Driftfotos and last picture is from Elgene Crescini). I posted this Tuesday night during our switch to a new server and it was lost so I just wanted to post it up again for you guys! I have posted some of my best friend Tek’s photography before but I haven’t posted his cars.  The life of a car… it’s a funny thing.  Tek started out with a stock Jazz Blue 20th #3060.   And it turned into this…  Jline 5SL2’s 18x 8/9.5 Matte Black w/Polished lips, custom dual projector retrofit headlights, black roof, boser, and more. This was Tek’s daily… A Uni Black MkIV GTi.  A little rough around the edges & rollin’ on creme stealies but still a dope daily! On Christmas day of 2008 Tek and a few of my buddies were on there way to snap some pics when Tek lost control of the 20th and was in a head on collision.  With serious damage the car was totaled… Fortunately the 20th was in winter mode and the Jlines were safe at home and a few other pieces were saved from the car Tek then went to work on his Black daily, got some smaller tires for some more stretch on the Jlines, sourced a new front bumper, 20th front lip, new rear bumper, 20th rear valence, new exhaust, wrapped his headliner, and swapped a few other little things from the 2oth.  The black car had never looked so good! He then modified his H&R coilovers and built a new set of dual projector retrofit headlights.  This time completely black’d out.  And YES that STANCE is STATIC! Chances are if you are a part of the Subaru scene or live in the Tri-State area then you are familiar with Dimitri Tsougas aka D Money and his Bugeye WRX.  This is what it looked like back in '07 when Eric Tong shot it for JTuned and later that year it was featured in SubieSport Magazine. Nowadays most guys with builds of this caliber have a photoshoot done, get their feature, and it seems more often then not you will see a part out thread on the forums in the near future.  I think it's unfortunate to see so many top notch builds come and go so quickly.  Well Dimitri did take the car off the road after the 2007 season but not to sell the car or part it out... he did it to tear the car apart AGAIN! And this time to build the WRX to the fullest and I mean THE FULLEST extent! In 2009 I guess you could say I was consumed by cars and my photography. The two of them brought me to California, Tennessee, Virginia, and to many other meets, BBQ's, and shoots in between! Along the way I met a lot of new people, some of which I wouldn't even be sitting here today writing this if it wasn't for them. Funny how that works... anyways one of the guys I met last year was Andrew Marsteller owner of Open Road Tuning. Andrew and his MkIV Well as the aftermarket car scene becomes more and more saturated with the same old rubbish, one company in the tuning scene is breaking the mold. Bagyard Air Ride is a small company based out of "way south" Austria that is, as Eric Eng would say, producing "mind-blowing shit." Not only does this company design and build air struts, they personally design the machines that produce this unique air ride experience. Hahahah came across this picture on Honda Tech and it just struck me as strange. It's dope that Seth was in a shop somewhere near a Hybrid race car. I wonder what he was up to.. If anyone has anymore info on this car let me know!
