I had never filmed a feature in the rain before, but thought it would be a cool concept, so I called up my friend Alexa to let me shoot her boosted E36. This car is badass, even more so because a girl built the car. There are not too many females in the community with this level of dedication to a vehicle. Everything on the car has been touched, and her fitment is aggressive and functional. This BMW obviously goes as much at it shows. Enjoy.
The first round of Formula Drift kicked off in Long Beach, CA on the world famous Grand Prix Street Course. Rookie driver Daigo Saito from Japan was driving in a +1000whp sc430 came in 3rd place, putting down the thickest clouds of smoke ever seen in FD. Justin Pawlak managed to once again smash the competition with his amazing lead runs, and dangerously close follow runs to beat the 2011 champion, Daijiro Yoshihara. Justin Pawlak once again took the victory at Long Beach for the 2nd year in a row. Canibeat will be in full force this year providing you with photo and video coverage from all seven Formula Drift events. Stay Tuned!
Rion Morse's e30 has been whoring around Facebook and Instagram for a few months now. So for the first time ever we bring you a video featuring his car during the final stages of his wheel build and test fitting. Rion at one point had three different sets of these Gotti's around his house waiting to be built into the perfect set. Also in this video is Simon Holliday's MK4 Jetta on built BBS RS's. Simon, though on bags now has a passion for being low. Even in the brutal streets of downtown Savannah drives his car on the subframe 80% of the time. The shop this was shot in is The Car Spa in Savannah, GA. A huge thank you goes to Patrick and his dad Mr. Burns for their courtesy of letting us hang out. If you're ever in the area, stop by to say hello or get a fresh detail. Enjoy the video!
Spring time is a joyous time for car enthesiasts as it is the start of show season. On April 14th, Kenny Cano headed over to Englishtown, NJ for Show N' Go 2012. This was a kick-off for the Euro crowd and it was a great start to the season as the day packed with good times, good people, and sick cars. Make sure to check out another great video from Kenny who is always bringing us the goods!
This past weekend, Canibeat's Kenny Cano got the itch to get out and do a little shooting. The plan was something that was plain and simple, something that focused on the car itself from all angles. Luckily he had access to a clean and simple R32 owned by Genaro that fit the bill perfectly for what Kenny had in mind. So kick back and enjoy Kenny's latest creation!
The forecast was rain, but did that stop the guys over at Clubloose from tearing it up at E-Town? Not at all. Opening Moves is the first event of their tenth year in "Making Drifting Fun". This is the first event for a year that will be something to remember. Enjoy
Here's a video that was posted yesterday by Ukranian videographers КВАД Фото-Видео. We love these old Ladas and are excited to bring you some exclusive features of these cars once the snow melts. Stay tuned! Read More
For me and my experience, I've always been more of a euro automotive guy. It's that combination of engineering and class that just makes that side of the scene usually more appealing. It's a mind set that simplicity can go a long way, and you don't need a mass amount of body work and chrome dipped parts to make a car stand out. Tom Byrne I can safely say, understands this concept of simplicity. When Tom told me he first bought an S2000 I had mixed feelings. After drifting the stock car out of a chic-fil-a however, my mixed feelings had dispersed. I was hooked. Laughing at the Vtec kick, we started to discuss plans for the new Honda in his life. Me of course concerned he would be going fast and the furious rice status on us. Luckily, that was not the case at all. With simplicity in mind, and months of dedication and work on polishing wheels and saving for hard tops and engine work, I proudly present Tom's Honda S2000 Video.
