This is a story of one man’s 28 year journey to own a Porsche 930. Jim Goodlett’s 1984 grey market 930 Turbo is a beautiful example of a classic Porsche 911, but it also represents the accomplishment of a goal he set for himself as a young man who could only dream of one day owning this supercar.
“Canibeat always does an amazing job setting up a quality car event showcasing quality cars. First Class Fitment definitely takes the cake as one of the best car shows of the year. I was fortunate to attend again this year and here’s my little coverage video of the event. Everyone’s cars who was in the show was on point and I wish I could have filmed all of them. But I hope you all like my video and please, as always…Watch it, Like it, SHARE it!
By the way, I’ve always loved the song I used ever since I first heard it on Gran Turismo 2. If you all recognized the song, then props to you! Now I feel old knowing that I played GT2.” – Daniel Phan (4MATIONMEDIA)

Last weekend we hosted our third annual First Class Fitment show at Princeton Airport in New Jersey. As we are compiling our official photo coverage via our team, enjoy our official video by Halcyon Photography & Videography. A big thanks to everyone involved in the show. We cannot wait for 2013!
Our friend Dzemo (pronounced Jaymo) is the owner of this beautiful Audi TT and a wedding photographer and videographer by trade. So after filming wedding after wedding this past wedding season, he decided to mix it up and shoot a quick automotive video. So with the help of his close friend Stas Furman they put together this cool short film documenting a day in NYC with the TT. It’s been exactly 4 years today since Dzemo purchased his TT and we couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate the occasion!
It’s not everyday that you get to see a supercar rolling down the street, but it’s rare that you get to see one on a set of over-the-top Rotiforms! This particular example, owned by my friend John Kim, is a car you just cannot miss. John’s Lamborghini Gallardo has been a car I was determined to see in person. I had originally heard about the car a couple months ago from a few friends, and had also come across it a few times scouring the web. Having already been a huge fan of the Gallardo body style, this car simply astonished me, and I know I had to shoot it. I got ahold of John and plans were arranged to meet up. Conveniently, we both were in Ocean City during the weekend of H2Oi, and we were able to step away from the crowds to get some footage. As we drove through the city, people couldn’t help but to stare, shouted as we drove by, and countless waves and thumbs up were thrown. This car looks exceptional, and I can’t wait to see what John has up his sleep for the future.
After missing many of the previous H2Oi weekends in Ocean City, Maryland, I finally got my act together and ventured out with some close friends to experience the event. Upon arriving, we witnessed the madness already beginning. Ocean City quickly became a giant party in every direction. The whole weekend filled the streets with Volkswagens and many other fitted cars. Parking lots turned into huge meets and sidewalks became front row seats to the streets’ craziness.
After getting settled in, cruising around with everyone, and finding food at my new favorite restaurant, Big Pecker’s, night came, and we were quickly drenched in Ocean City’s infamous rain. However, It passed overnight and cleared up just in time allowing for a beautiful Sunday show at the campground. I’ve learned that H2O is a huge event. Cars are literally everywhere, but that’s why it is such a great event. This will be a memorable experience that goes beyond that of a typical car show. I got to see some familiar faces and also meet many new friends. H2O weekend is something I’m already looking forward to next year.
The hottest event in the Formula Drift season, Las Vegas Motor Speedway was filled with heated battles for the remaining points before the final race in Irwindale, California. Top drivers pushed each other to the limit often ending with some serious collisions. Many of the drivers gave it all they had and left with nothing. Check out my recap of the event containing driver interviews and incredible slow-mo shots bringing you closer than ever before. – LORENinHD
This is a story of a father and sons love for cars, BMW’s and especially the classic 2002. Patrick Burns’ 1972 model is a particularly interesting example and reflects the passion behind it that he and his father share. It’s not perfect, but that’s not the point, it’s enjoyed everyday and is still going strong after 40 years on the road. Wendell and Patrick are great guys, their dedication to cars is infectious and it has been a pleasure getting to know them.
One of my favorite videographers out there, Josh Clason, has brought us a brand new video which is apart of his Depth of Speed series which is in its second year. Every episode brings you an in-depth look at a piece of the car scene no matter the decade its from or the country where it originates from. This time Josh brings us Joel’s 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit out of the Twin Cities. A truly amazing video so sit back relax and enjoy… and then make sure to check out even more of the series on Josh’s Vimeo page as they are all astounding as this one.
