This is what a nice S13 looks like in 2010. All the applicable boxes have been checked, and the owner of this Aloha State creeper has put in extra work in a few areas. The car features a full suite of adjustable suspension arms, genuine Works9 aero, and excellent paintwork. I’m grateful for any paint given how many flat-primered ‘shitboxes’ I see rolling around these days, but this gentleman has gone the extra mile.

Perilously low both front and rear with just enough stretch, the stance and Meisters are doing the car numerous favors.

It’s rare to come across people with extreme amount of talent. In this case I met Gerald Alvarez when he contacted me to use one of my photos of my own BMW 135i to to a rendering of the upcoming BMW 1M. He based all these rendering off spy shots and descriptions of the 1M which has yet to be revealed. I find that truly amazing. The renderings look just like the actual car and not a graphic design! Check out the other colors he did!

Matyas Fulop shot this picture at Jamboree 2010 for DownshiftAus and I think I might be going out on a limb here, but some of the best fitment I’ve ever seen on an S2000. Specs are 18×8 +35, -2.7 camber and 18×9 +45, -1.2 camber, nothing obscene and sideways, but flush to the fender, in a simply clean fashion. Possibly more to come on this beautiful car!

It seems like ages ago now, but back during my spring break I had a chance to meet up with some of the heavy hitters of the Norcal Area in regards to the modified Honda Scene. I’m talking about ATS garage and those doods from MemoryFab. Coverage of my trip to Norcal is HERE if you’ve forgotten already. Well during that trip my homie Jimmy Uy, was so kind as to pick me up from where I was staying and host a BBQ in honor of Canibeat X MemoryFab X ATS. Well He just got a new blog up called OnTheLow and running so please check it out! If you have never seen his car before…u dont lurk the internet enough haha. Try and show him some love cause I always hate on him !

Well better late than never… almost a month ago myself, Canibeat photographer Eric Chandler, videographer Kenny Cano, and our friend Mike Russo met up at Englishtown to hang out and shoot the XDC drift event and Remix Tour show. As close as I live to Englishtown this was actually my first time attending a drift event there and my first XDC event. Although it wasn’t as big as a Formula D event and there may not have been as many big name drivers, teams, or sponsors I loved the grassroots atmosphere!

We pride ourselves in quality photography here on Canibeat so I was super excited to start working with Kenny Cano on Canibeat video event coverage and features!

This event was a unique experience for me because I had my car in the Remix show and I was out on the track most of the day covering the drifting. However much to my surprise I ended up taking home Best Driven Honda and Best Stance of the event!

Unfortunately I have been so busy recently I only had a chance to edit these two shots from that day but check out all of the great shots Eric took!

Derek and I have been meaning to get together and shoot his Evo for a while.  So after the Liberty VIP BBQ this past Sunday I grabbed some Tony Lukes cheese steaks with Derek and the rest of the Stunnr Status guys, and then we went to find a spot to shoot where a bunch of us could hang out.   I recently made some changes to my rig setup and I absolutely love the rolling stance of this car so I guess you could say I was determined to take a rig shot or two!  More to come…

Jordan Donnelly met up with Steve Shine while he was on a road trip from Florida to Canada. They met up in Virginia and started out by scouting out some spots to shoot his car, and ended up going to this industrial yard. The people who worked there were totally cool about letting them shoot there.

You guys might remember Steve’s Is300 which was featured on canibeat back in May. This time he’s back with Jordan Donnelly behind the lense and a new Greddy Trust front lip.

“We started shooting as the clouds started rolling in. Luckily I got a few good shots before it started, but we had to high tail it to the car pretty quickly so the equipment wouldn’t get wet. We regrouped back at Cristian’s work to figure everything out. There I spotted a semi truck trailer on the side and it was completely dry under it, which got me thinking… We then set up the gear under the trailer and continued the shoot in the rain. I had never done that before and I think it added to the shoot. Not that you really need much to make a slammed IS look good. “

First off, I hope you guys all like the title. Took me and the owner of this car, Jeff, a while to think of it. But panda, oreo, dalmatian, killer whale or whatever black and white themed thing you want to call this, it’s still a spankin’ new Audi A4. A very comfy A4 I might add. Pandas may look mellow, but will attack whenever they feel threatened. This panda is no exception.

Ok, ok. Enough with the corniness. I just loved the creativity behind the title. Anyway, Jeff has put in a lot of work in this 2009 B8 A4. You should consider this stage 2 of this modifications since he has already moved on to stage 3 since this shoot.

This Saturday was the All Star Car Battle at Firebird Raceway, in Chandler Arizona. It was definitely a fun time, hangin’ out with friends, watching drifting, and scopin’ out some clean cars and beautiful women. I arrived a few hours before the gates opened and after a ½ hour run-around by the staff, I finally got my media wristband as well as my vendor credentials for Ksport. After taking delivery of a fresh batch of Ksport t shirts, I hit the drift paddock to catch up with some friends. I spent some time checking out everyone’s cars, since I hadn’t seen some of these guys in over a month and haven’t seen their drift cars in about that long.

Once the drifting got underway, my buddy Marin and I hit the track to catch some shots during practice. While practice isn’t the most exciting time of the event, it’s when everyone’s cars look their best and you can (usually) get at least a couple shots of each car before anything breaks or flies off of the car.

After weathering a couple dust storms and a downpour, we headed back to the paddock and watched my friend Scott flip some burgers with a Tein spanner wrench. I gotta admit, he was doin’ pretty good. I tried to buy a beer, but after hearing the prices I decided I could go without. Our next stop was the lowrider show and drag strip. To be honest, watching cars go in a straight line isn’t all that exciting so I quickly moved on.

Back at the drift paddock, we freshened up our gear and hit the track again. At this point, my feet were insanely sore so I knew I wouldn’t be staying too much longer. I’d been at Firebird Raceway for the better part of 9 hours, and had been on my feet for at least 85% of that time. The drift competition kicked off around 9 o’ clock, and everything immediately got real. In a Top 16 format, the field was eventually narrowed down to 3 fierce competitors. Mike Burns, aka Captain America ended up with 3rd place. I had a lot of fun watching his high-speed entries and smoke-filled exits complete with American flag flying furiously.

It’s always cool to see those little box stickers on cars local, countries far away, and everywhere in between. I got a chance to talk to Adrian A.,the owner of this Daily Driven 1994 Efini Rx7 Type R in Chaste white. Along with Canibeat.com via teal box sticker, he represents Regina, Sask. Canada quite well don’t you say?

The motor is a 13b, bridge ported with a greddy t88-34d turbo kit, making 500rwhp at 14psi. Intake temps are cooled with a 6inch Border intercooler and an AEM water meth kit. Putting the power to the ground on a PowerFC with a close-ratio gearbox and OS Giken Twin plate clutch and LSD. Incredibly, the car is self-tuned.

The aero kit is an authentic RE-Amemiya AD kit, with Knight Sports mirrors and carbon GT wing. The interior has a custom made T&E Vertex lime green fuzzy shift knob, nardi 360mm classic and bride floormats/rear divider.

Street wheels are CST Hyper zero 1′s in 17×9.5 +15 215/45/17 and 18×9.5+12 235/40/18.

Adrian would like to give a shout out to Dodo-Logic, Saskatchewans auto blog, who are a group a friends that promote the car scene in Sask and give a look into the culture side of the automotive world.

This post is pretty significant because its subject hails from the beautiful country of Malaysia, which by the way is nearly 9500 miles away from the Nation’s Capitol. I returned home from a 3-week-asia-tour adventure a few days ago and simply had a great time exploring Malaysia, where some of my cousins reside. ANYWHO. Enter dorifto_demon from Zilvia. I had seen him post up a few times and was simply intrigued by his car as I certainly did not come across cars of this nature while traveling the country! THIS is how it’s done!
