We all hear stories of “those kids down the street” with the car(s) that wake up the whole neighborhood. Well, for the neighbors adjacent to the Taylor family, those kids would be Nick and his twin brother Nate. Both Nick and Nate grew up wrenching on cars before they could even drive; helping their father build and modify cars became a huge influence on their involvement in the car scene now. Nick, the owner of this beautiful Miata gives us an inside look at the story of his slammed little roadster, and his inspiration behind his build. Read More

The 1960’s and 70’s brought us the muscle car era which led to a whole new way to describe the automobile. Words like “mean” and “tough” began to roll off the tongue when describing these menaces to society. That “tough” look still lives on today and has even reached outside of the muscle car genre to give influence to top-notch builds like Dallas Webb’s stunning Volkswagen Beetle. Read More

#PictureMeRollin: Shrink All the Rollers!
I have to say, this is probably my favorite #PMR to date. I reached out to Chadwick, who, as most of you probably already know, is the man behind transforming our cars to look like Micro Machines! Well, Chad was kind enough to collaborate with us and send over some of the rolling shots that have been submitted to him for the Fundraiser for Cory Burgess' fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Many thanks go out to all of the participants and donations this fundraiser has received, it's so awesome watching an automotive community come together for such a good cause! Also, a big thanks to the photographers of each image, without you, these images would not exist. Don't forget to check out the #Shrinkallthecars Meet put together by Jess Kang with help from Chad Kreiling and Katie Buehl this weekend in Philadelphia! Read More
For as long as I can remember, Hondas don't always have the best rep. Clear tails, non-matching body panels and exhaust canisters bigger than a toddler could be to blame but every once in-awhile comes along a Honda that makes you shut your trap; one that actually gives Hondas enthusiasts a good name. They come boasting a quality mod list and a look that has you doing a double-take. This Honda S2000, owned by Karl Perez, is a prime example of how you piece together an automobile that doesn’t embarrass a whole brand and group of enthusiasts, so whip out your pens and pencils and take note. We all know that Philadelphia is known for it's famous cheesesteak sandwiches, but up until the weekend I went to check out the Fresh Meet Events & Tuner Evolution Spring Bash, I was a cheeseteak novice. Now, the purpose of my trip wasn't just to finally taste a Philly cheesesteak, but to hang out with the guys of LowLifeStyle x JunkStyles crew (both from PA) and to see what's happening with the East Coast for 2013. The Volkswagen scene commands a lot of attention, and I am not saying that simply because I am a VW owner, driver, fan, and euro fanatic. The Volkswagen driver is someone who emits love for their car, no matter if it’s their first or fifty first. Josh Joyce ran across this little MK1 Rabbit as a good deal and had thoughts to use the little diesel as a daily driver. After owning a good amount of vehicles already and always having a soft spot for the diesel Rabbits the answer was quickly given, and the little green machine was in the hands of Joyce and on the way home. Another week has gone by and we're just as ready for the weekend as you guys. This week's #PMR submission comes from overseas; England to be exact. I came across Paul Cooks work through my constant photo digging and spotted this Volkswagen Polo. Yet another neat little hatch that Volkswagen never let the United States have. This one here, owned by Luke Ross looks great! Thanks for the awesome pictures Paul! Read More
It's hard to imagine a life without the internet. Just about every hot new build in the car scene can be discovered with it, new cars are popping up everyday that no one has ever seen before and because of web, it is possible for you and I to see, and share these builds with the world. We sometimes take the internet for granted, but without it so many magnificent builds would go unheard of and everyone would have to go to an event to see them (and we all know not all cars make it out to those).
