accord

When the organizers of Autocon approached us this year to ask if we'd be able to attend Autocon 2011, we promised we would. Since last year was such a huge success for them and we wanted to contribute to making the show even better. So this year, instead of just promising coverage, we have decided to show. It will be our first official west coast show that we will be attending as a major vendor. How can we forget about our west coast fans let alone resist a good children's' charity car event? It's going to be one exciting event! Are YOU ready? Read More »
This past Saturday Hard Parked and StateOfStance hosted the Summer Meat Meet At Markham Park in Weston, FL. It had been a while since I'd gone to anything stance related here in Miami, so it was refreshing to see how big the scene has gotten down here. You'll probably recognize a bunch of familiar cars, some with new wheels and some even lower than they were the last time you saw them. The best part about the meat/meet for me was the eclectic showing of cars that turned out. Everything from slammed Miatas to muscle cars, aired out VWs to Nissan GTRs, Hondas to Mustangs, you get the idea. I'm not sure anyone did an official count, but there was a HUGE turnout. The actual show area was filled within the first hour or so and cars were lined up around every surrounding road. If this is the kind of showing we got all the way down in Miami, I can't wait to see what shows up at Simply Clean 3 in November up in Sanford. Hope you guys enjoy the photos! Read More »
Years before Canibeat ever existed our small group of friends made the trip to Nashville, TN for the annual Import Alliance Summer meet. Since our first trip to Nashville back in 2006, our small group of friends has become a very big group, and Import Alliance has become an annual tradition for all of us! When Don Napier, one of the organizers behind the Import Alliance events mentioned to us last year that they may be having another event in the North East we were excited! Although the road trip to Nashville with friends is one of the best parts of our annual summer trip, we were excited to show Don and the guys from down South what the North East had to offer! Well Don and the Import Alliance team delivered on their promise of a North East event a few weeks ago when they held their first annual End of Summer meet in Baltimore, MD! Canibeat was in attendance vending and covering the event for you, and you can bet this annual event will become another tradition for the Canibeat crew! Enjoy guys. Read More »
Since 2006 car enthusiasts from all over have traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for what has now become the largest all import meet in the entire country. It seems like just yesterday that I attended my first Import Alliance in 2007 and I was instantly hooked! Nothing beats being around people who share the same passion as you do and tons of quality cars all around you for an entire weekend. I noticed a lot more variety in cars this year and it made for a more amazing experience. We will let the pictures do the talking. A big thank you goes out Don, Omari & the entire Import Alliance staff for letting us be a part of this amazing event they have created. Thanks for the good memories and we will defiantly be back next year! Enjoy everyone. Read More »

The Last Hurrah: A 10 Year Journey Ending With One Sexy Accord

Think back 10 years, (I know it's tough lol) and try to remember what you were driving back then. For most of us we have either had multiple cars since then or were still cruising the streets on Huffy's but John Wall was picking up his Accord Coupe. This was an Accord that would make a journey with John for the last 10 years and its final act has been caught by the lens of our own Brendan Lester. Read More »

Random Beat: All Black Everythang

The guys and I were BBQ'n by the pool over the weekend and we decided to go out and take some updated shots of Bill's Accord.  I took some sunset shots and then I decided to take a stab at light painting for the first time. It's not perfect but a black on black car is usually a photographers nightmare to light so I was happy with my first attempt. What do you guys think? If you haven't seen Bill's Accord before keep an eye out for it at Import Alliance in Nashville, TN next weekend!
Photography by Mike Hyatt / Words by David Tormey for Canibeat.com While planning First Class Fitment last year we knew our space at the airport was limited so we set out to fill what little space we did have with as much variety as we possibly could.  Trying to compare all of the different cars and make our selections wasn't easy, but there were a few cars that really were one of a kind.  While the 8thgen Accord sedans are a popular choice for VIP inspired builds overseas in Thailand and other countries, it wasn't until I saw Jason Borrero's last year that I believed they could be anymore than a practical family sedan. 2011 Eibach Coverage

Photography & Words by Marin Nelson for Canibeat.com We've all been waiting many months for this event! Some of the Canibeat guys and I flew/drove down to partake in this years event.  It started off pretty grim, the weather wasn't looking good as the rain started pouring pretty early in the morning.  Luckily after a couple of hours the sky started to clear up and it just got better from there.  I know you guys aren't here to read, so lets move on to the pictures!
