Another year, another First Class Fitment gone by. We spend an entire year looking forward to a day that seems to go by faster than every other day of the year and this year was no different. Before sunrise to after sunset, the staff works hard at Princeton Airport for arguably one of the most unique, quality events on the show calendar. Sure, we may be a little biased about our own show but we keep trying to raise the bar each and every year and continue to see attendance grow and some of the best vehicles from across the country come through our gates.
I finally had a chance to make it out to Canibeat’s First Class Fitment hosted at Princeton Airport in NJ and I must say I was completely blown away by the superior level of cars that attended. The show hosted some mint condition nostalgic JDM and Euro cars achieving very proper stance, as well as some freshly modified cars laying frame while obtaining immaculate pain jobs paired with very aggressive fitments. All and all the show brought together a great vibe that kept spectators enthused for hours on end. I had an amazing time with the CIB crew and cant wait for 2014! Hope you guys enjoy.
After attending First Class Fitment for the past 3 years, our good friend Dzemo Halilovic aka PhotoDH decided to make a film documenting this years event. It’s not always easy to capture the vibe and atmosphere of an event but with the help of a few friends Dzemo really did an amazing job capturing this years event from beginning to end!
Dzemo said… “The quality of cars, the weather, the atmosphere was all just perfect! Having the Audi TT win “Best of Air” certainty placed the icing on the cake! Special thanks to Stan Furman Production, Kenan Krijestorac and Nick Sarantinos for making it possible!”

A year went by as the east coast prepared for an event that would change the course of our automotive culture and history. The tri-state generation had yet to prove and showcase their knowledge, hard work, and their way of life. When the announcement was made that Weksos USA was hosting a show right in the center of the North East people flooded with excitement and anticipation, eager to finally climb up as underdogs to the west, and come up as kings of the east.
Three of us stood in a bare parking lot at 8am, staring at a matte white Audi S4. An S4 that would need to carry us and a long list of belongings all the way out to Englishtown, New Jersey for the legendary European automotive show; Waterfest.
The pleasure was all mine when I visited Union, New Jersey, and in particular the Kean University Campus. Coincidentally Kean University was also the home of this year’s Fresh MEET Summer Bash. Fresh Meet events are held to provide a safe and secure area designated for enthusiasts of all ages and communities to attend, where they can display their vehicle and share a common interest. But more importantly they’re held to provide the new generation a direction that can provide inspiration and the willingness to build some awesome vehicles. After a long trek from Canada I arrived to the venue the night prior. I stopped to go over some setup information with Rey Pegan before making my way to my hotel to rest up.
HONDA DAY events cater to the vast Honda enthusiasts gathered together to celebrate anything Honda. Honda Day comprises of two events; one on April 13 and 14th at Atco Raceway in New Jersey, and one on August 10th and 11th in Englishtown, New Jersey. This was my first time attending Honda Day, and I was really overwhelmed at the amount of people that were in attendance last weekend at Atco. I’ve been thinking of visiting the E-Town event since I was told that the English Town event packs even more spectators and vehicles. Would be interesting to see. Originally I did not attend the event with the intention to provide coverage, however as I walked and checked out the vehicles that were present, I naturally wanted to capture the imagery and lifestyle and share it with our viewers and followers. I managed to snag my buddy’s Canon T3, a far cry from my usual gear, however it did surprisingly well! Special thanks to Jason Cao for letting me use his camera, and the whole PSI crew out of Rochester, NY who I drove up with. Also helping me with this one was Hieuy Truong from AZN photography in Rochester who assisted by providing some juicy wide angle shots to give us a different perspective.

For the third year in a row, our annual First Class Fitment meet at Princeton Airport has been a successful bookend to the East Coast show circuit. The event is organized as an invitational showcase for the best examples of the fitment scene on this side of the Mississippi, and the key draw for this show has always been a concentrated diversity that simply doesn’t exist in other events. First Class Fitment is a manifestation of Canibeat’s commitment to bringing our readers the largest variety of cars in our community crammed into a single day of food, music, friends, and feature-worthy cars
