HONDA DAY events cater to the vast Honda enthusiasts gathered together to celebrate anything Honda. Honda Day comprises of two events; one on April 13 and 14th at Atco Raceway in New Jersey, and one on August 10th and 11th in Englishtown, New Jersey.  This was my first time attending Honda Day, and I was really overwhelmed at the amount of people that were in attendance last weekend at Atco.  I've been thinking of visiting the E-Town event since I was told that the English Town event packs even more spectators and vehicles. Would be interesting to see. Originally I did not attend the event with the intention to provide coverage, however as I walked and checked out the vehicles that were present, I naturally wanted to capture the imagery and lifestyle and share it with our viewers and followers.  I managed to snag my buddy's Canon T3, a far cry from my usual gear, however it did surprisingly well!  Special thanks to Jason Cao for letting me use his camera, and the whole PSI crew out of Rochester, NY who I drove up with.   Also helping me with this one was Hieuy Truong from AZN photography in Rochester who assisted by providing some juicy wide angle shots to give us a different perspective. For the third year in a row, our annual First Class Fitment meet at Princeton Airport has been a successful bookend to the East Coast show circuit. Spring time is a joyous time for car enthesiasts as it is the start of show season. On April 14th, Kenny Cano headed over to Englishtown, NJ for Show N' Go 2012. This was a kick-off for the Euro crowd and it was a great start to the season as the day packed with good times, good people, and sick cars. Last Year Canibeat videographer Kenny Cano had the pleasure of filming Black II for our good friends over at Liberty VIP. The Show was pure quality featuring some of the best heavy hitters in the east coast VIP Scene. The show was a blast like always and we cant wait for this years Black III in Englishtown, NJ on Octorber 6th. We will have more information on here as the event gets closer. 2012 is a tough year to be a Honda/Acura enthusiast.  The Civic Si, once the poster-child of the import scene, has become, at best, an also ran.  While the car isn't terrible, this year's Civic marks the 12th year of the ~200 hp K-series motor as the heart of Honda performance. The announcement of Acura's new ILX brought nothing to the table either, sharing the same 2.4L powerplant as its Honda twin (and the TSX seen here).  While the CR-Z should serve as a shot in the arm, the two seater's hybrid setup brings unwanted cost and complexity, and falls short of what enthusiasts expected from the long-waited CR-X revival.  While there exist some excellent choices in slightly older Hondas and Acuras, the performance and luxury options have changed significantly since import fans first scooped up Integras, Preludes, and Si's en masse.  Those in the market now have the options of used Evo's, 350Z's, WRX's, and RWD Lexus and Infiniti luxury sedans that offer significantly more performance and status than a TSX, RSX, Accord, TL, or Civic could possibly offer.
