Southern Worthersee is awesome, there is no other way to put it. The people, the cars, and the location in general could not be more perfect. It’s more than just a car show. Though there may be a lot of awesome cars SoWo has become a vacation more than anything. This being the 7th installment of the tribute show to Worthersee SOWO has grown into one of the biggest Euro shows on the east coast. Through the hard work of the staff and the enthusiast in the VW scene the show has taken on a life of it’s own. We all get the privilege to call this tiny mountain city home for five days in May and we always remember why when we take that first glimpse on Helen, GA.

To many of us, a car becomes more than just a vehicle that gets us from point A to point B. Our relationship with our car becomes much more than just hopping in, strapping our seatbelt, and turning the key. The bond that forms becomes a passion, and to others that simply don’t understand, a seeming obsession. André and his Scirocco share this common bond amongst automotive enthusiasts, and he has gone to great lengths to transform his base model Scirocco into something special.

The Mk6. When Volkswagen unveiled it, I must admit, I was stoked. The front was aggressive and angry; the side, sleek and smooth. The back was just as evil looking as the front. There is no question why the new Mk7 design is so similar to the Mk6 chassis.

Jon Walker out of Maryland, has a definitive ‘Simply Clean’ 97 ITR. From the Spoon/Password JDM goodies dressing up the bay, to the brand new Regamaster Evos. Yeah, brand new. With the sound of the glorious Buddy Club Spec 2 out back, and the white on white, this car is timeless. Jon also says he plans on a motor build soon.

Spooning Around
So I had the chance to meet up with Dan, from Connecticut this past Sunday and shoot his beautiful JDM ITR. I kinda knew Dan from IA and loved his car, and when he mentioned he was driving the R down to Florida, and asked if I would shoot the car I jumped at the chance.
